The Legend of Gomez the God and the Dodgers Miracle Season

Based on the book, Gomez the God by Mark Loweree, the film tells the story of a wandering “mystery man” who surreptitiously appears in East Los Angeles, not far from Dodger Stadium.

Gomez has a profound effect on his neighbors, and one family in particular. He weaves his silent miracles, influencing the Dodgers during their benchmark 1988 season, where they went from zeroes to heroes in the World Series.

The screenplay for Gomez is adapted by father-son scribes, Mark and Jimmy Loweree.
